A lot of times we get the question: Do you promote influencers? The short answer is: Sure, we do!
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BECOME PART OF THE 5TO9STYLE INFLUENCERS?
To be honest, not everybody can become an influencer/brand ambassador. This is what you at least need:
- A following of 100k or more on Instagram
- Your following must have a high affinity with our products (e.g. fashion, fitness, yoga, etc.)
- The ability and willingness to take pictures and promote us
- The willingness to put our link in your Instagram bio when running the promotion for us
The bigger your following is, the more we can do for you.
HERE IS WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
We always trial all influencers/brand ambassadors for one month. The first step is that we will send you a free pair of our leggings. You can actually choose one yourself. To get our gear to you, we need some info from you:
- Link to your Instagram account to cross reference you
- Your full name
- Your shipping address
- Your size. On every page, there is a size chart. If you are in between sizes, it would be best to go with the bigger size.
When we've got that info, we are able to send you your pair. Keep in mind that our items are all handmade, so it takes us a little while to get them to you. We print, cut, sew and ship them from the US. If you are not based in the US, please know that shipping times are a bit longer.
I GOT ALL THE ABOVE, SO HOW DO I SIGN UP?
If you have a following of 25k+, please shoot us an email at cs@5to9style.com and start the subject with [influencer].
Please show us what you do, tell us what channels you have (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and provide us the links to those channels. We can then figure out a deal for you.
Also, include the info we need listed in the bullet list above.

OK, I'M IN... NOW WHAT?
To promote us, you will need some basic info to get started. We like that the posts on Instagram include certain hashtags, but we also like you to have some artistic freedom to fit it for your following.

THE LINK YOU SHOULD USE:
Please contact us via email or Instagram for the link you should use. We use different links per product. This means that if you, for instance, wear the "pink sugar skull" one in the picture, you will receive a different link than if you would wear the "ornamental skull" one.
HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO POST?
We will leave that up to you. This also depends on how big your following is.
Most of our brand ambassadors post 3 or 4 times a week, every time in a new setting with a fresh picture.
The more you post → the more exposure → the more sales come in → the happier we are :)
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE FIRST MONTH?
After the trial period, it is time to see if both parties are happy with how things went.
Things we will look into:
- If you posted consistently
- If there was enough engagement
- If your posts actually generated sales
If both parties are happy, we would like to build a strong relationship with you. This means we will send you new leggings every month. But there is more...
We like to reward our top promoters, so on top of the free apparel, we offer a 10% revenue share on all the sales you make via your personalized link.
Example: Our average order value is $110 → 10% = $11 per sale
Every last Friday of the month, we pay all our brand ambassadors via PayPal.
Note: We only pay via PayPal, so make sure you have an account.
Some of our brand ambassadors make real money by simply promoting us.
