A. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

To be effective under the DMCA, your notice of claimed infringement must include the following details:

• Your physical or electronic signature (if you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder);
• Identification of the copyrighted work or intellectual property you believe has been infringed (if multiple works are affected, a representative list may be provided);
• A clear description of the allegedly infringing material, including sufficient information to allow us to locate it on our website (a direct URL is preferred);
• Your contact information, including your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent, or the law;
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright or intellectual property owner.

Please note that incomplete notices may be considered invalid and may not receive a response.

Upon receiving a valid notification, we reserve the right to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material without prior notice. In appropriate circumstances, the matter may be referred to the United States Copyright Office for further resolution.

B. Submitting a Counter-Notice (if your content was removed)

If you believe your content was removed in error or as a result of mistaken identity, you may submit a counter-notification under the DMCA. Your counter-notice must contain the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature;
• Identification of the content that has been removed and the location where it appeared prior to removal;
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification;
• Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court (or any court where 5to9style may be found, if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or their authorised agent.

Once we receive a valid counter-notice, we may notify the original complainant. Unless they initiate legal proceedings within 10–14 working days, we may, at our discretion, reinstate the removed content.
